Roof Terrace, Terminal 1, Dublin Airport.

Television gardener Diarmuid Gavin is designing a roof terrace for the airside bar in the Terminal One Extension at Dublin Airport. Its centre piece will be a large double helical steel structure, clad in timber, engineered and detailed by McCarey Simmonds.

The bar/restaurant will have seating for 300 people and the 2,500 sq ft roof terrace, which is being designed by Diarmuid Gavin, will be a key feature of the development.
