McCarey Simmonds are specialists in modern commercial timber frame, Structural Insulated Panel SIP and traditional Oak frame engineering, working with fabricators in Cumbria, Dorset, Sussex, Kent, France and Latvia.

We have extensive experience in the very latest modern commercial timber framing techniques incorporating I-beam wall panels with enhanced vapour transfer (EVT) technology delivering a structure with a BRE’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Green Guide Ecopoint ‘A’ rating with excellent insulation properties.

We are also highly experienced in structural insulated panel (SIP) design up to three storeys.

Our projects range from residential developments of 1 to 300+ units, for UK and European developer clients, to educational schools from £1.5 to £9.0 million.

We have NHBC ‘timber frame certifier’ status which allows us both to design and certify projects providing a complete NHBC approved structural solution to clients.

It’s not just modern framing. We work with specialist traditional oak carpenters, Oakmasters in Sussex, creating new and restoring period structures in the old traditional manner.
